They only care about the sponsor's intent to move. You'll get the visa soon so maybe you could get a rental agreement?

Interesting. Why not the primary applicant? Do you know?

Well they know the primary applicant will move because they want a visa. They won't give the PA a visa unless they're sure the sponsor will move back to Canada with them and support them. Job offer, lease, etc.

I'm glad I made 2 people laugh yesterday!! My husband will be taking french classes as well but I can tell you that they learn a lot by just being around us.... For example my husband learnt real quick that MOUFETTE meant SKUNK after the dogs got sprayed twice in the middle of winter :) you see on hand learning goes a long way ;D

looool surprised to see that moufette is one of his first words; that and the swears i guess :P funny how ppl first catch the swears in any language ;)
u r right, having a native speaker in the home helps learn the language without actually noticing that u learn it; that's how i learn arabic, every day something new; even if i don't talk much i do understand a lot and don't feel left out in a conversation; the problem with us is that we talk at home english, here i don't have with who to talk in french and with my family we talk in our native tongue; but definately once we move we'll spend time with all my friends so he will start catching here and there + the tv, daily life activities, etc;

That gives me hope. I don't see in process either and I feel so anxious.

by the way, i did talk to ashu a few pages back abt what proofs of return i included, u can check it out maybe it will give u new ideas ;) good luck!!!! they r really processing it :)

also because if a pr resides with the canadian cizitizen spouse outside canada that pr still keeps the residency status; they cannot apply for citizenship but they won't loose the residency; that's also why they r so keen in making sure that the sponsors do actually move ::);):)

thanks, missmini! I am glad we got something. I mean I understand why some ppl think it is a downer (i.e. more work for us, and maybe slows down our processing time) but I am taking it as it means it's in process, I mean it's in motion! Plus, like canadiangirl78 wrote, with no "in process" on ecas and no word... you start to wonder, so at least I know someone has looked at it enough to assess our lack of proof! ha ;)

btw, I definitely think now that the addition of the address indicates processing!

I saw my husbands addresses pop up on ecas the day we got the AOR from Mexico.

Hi guys I have a situation here I sent my passport on 29th may.vo received on 30th may now i dint send a return envelop.my passport is still lying there.now I was thinking maybe I should send a return envelop now.how should I adress it?I have not received any call or email to collect I just want to send in advance

Hi all!

Just wanted to share the great news: Got PPR today!! It couldn't be better timing as we are driving down to Los Angeles next week (for our anniversary party!) so we can take the passports to the LA office and pick them up the same day! We are very excited!! As my E-Cas still shows "in process" let's just all remember that in time things will happen..and even though we are kept in the dark, know that they are moving along! We definitely had our share of confusion and stress, given that until PPR today, we have never received anything in the mail from CIC or VO. Best of luck everyone....we'll check in again soon!
