Hi everyone! After a long 107 days wait, I received my sponsorship approval email last night, May 9!!! I had made an appointment with my MP and turns out that evening I received my approval thanks all for your support!

YES finally we are able to login into ECAS using applicants details
"application received and medical results received"
we sent our application on jan 23 and received by CIC on jan 26 but on ecas it says they received my application on jan 20
it means im going to get PPR soon : : : :

I received sponsorship approval on May 3rd via e-mail but am not able to login to E-CAS. Does anyone know how long this takes? Also, will my wife receive her PPR via e-mail, phone or regular mail. I am actually in New Delhi now, will going to the high comissision in New Delhi help speed up the process?

yaaaaaaaaay finally....cooooongrats.....lol so i see that there is a relation between the mp appointment and their email u might finish stage 2 as fast as Gemini, before most of us

woooooooooow GOT PPR TODAY!!!!!! but i want to send some additional documents with passport so it will take few more days to prepare and finish off our package... we dont want to give them any chance to request additional documents or interview. is there any time period and can it delay the processing if we send passport after a week or two? it looks like new delhi is working very hard now...we got passport request after only 9 days!!!

congratulations for sponsorship approval!!! yes you should be able to log into ecas within a few days, at the most a week. try to log in with UCI number with sponsor's details and file number with applicant's details. it is normal to not be able to log in right away after approval, and i think they update ecas once a week, so dont worry! yes now new delhi is sending emails for passport requests (AOR and PPR) and i dont think going to New Delhi will make the process faster.

thanks! they didnt ask anything specific, just that at this time, you must include right of permanent residence fee if you havent payed that yet. in our case, we want to send additional documents in a few days to make our case stronger since sponsor is outside of canada to prove return to Canada. also, this is the time to send other important documents you might have missed before like applicant's birth certificate if you havent included that yet.

Hi ,,

I am applying from London Office

1-my application was received in Mississauga January 5, 2012
2-they sent confirmation letter to my wife in Canada on 6th March 2012
3-then in online status which I've been checking regularly was updated as "Medical Received" on 2nd April 2012

any idea where my application stands as its been crazy .. I really need some direction which cic cant give when we call them
