Jan 2013 applicant - GCMS not received after 30 days - is it expected?

Hi Friends,
I am Jan 2013 PR applicant...I applied PR through Canadian lawyer...
I applied GCMS on 28th Oct but I have not received the email... I noticed that everybody receiving their GCMS exactly after 30 days...can any one guess why it is late for me?

I called my lawyer also to check just I case if they received it...they did not receive it..

Did you mean 28th Sep? I think sometimes it can take a few days longer.

my gcms was delayed once and that was because my file was too big to receive in the email, so they mailed me a cd with the info, and that took like an extra week. email them and say that u havent received it

Did you get any confirmation email after GCMS application is submitted online?
Can you share the email id to enquire about it?

Can any one tell whether you receive confirmation email after GCMS application submitted... I did not receive any confirmation email....

You should receive a confirmation email when you have finished you application. It's automated, so you should have received it almost immediately. If you didn't get it check junk mail. You can write them at atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca

You can and should get it yourself

If GCMS notes is not received after 30 days, you can hang in there for several days.

Or you can send an email(email address is in your confirmation email) to quote the tracking number regarding your GCMS notes.

My GCMS notes was more than 30 days, so I sent them an email. It took 5 business days for them to reply me back with GCMS notes.

I received CD today.it is not working. I tried to open it in many laptops..none of the laptops showed the information..
Does any one faced the same problem?...how did you resolve it?
In which format the data is there?
