I've yet to receive an acknowledgement of receipt after filing PR application earlier this year.

I applied for permanent residence as an in person Convention Refugee in late January of this year. I know COVID has setback the IRCC processing times but is it normal to not receive an acknowledgement of receipt up until now?

Please advise.

There's already an existing thread with discussions regarding timelines for PR applications submitted by refugees. Suggest you join that rather than starting a new one. I believe there are people from early 2019 who are still waiting to hear back

Not everyone has been waiting that long. Many different experiences. Anyway you should read through that thread- at least the recent posts. Good luck.
