Is Wife's Mark Sheet & Certificate required in a sealed envelope?

hi all

i am temain applicant. I know my university certificate & mark sheets will have to be in a sealed envelope which I can manage.

but does anybody know, if my wife's mark heets & certificates will have to be in a sealed envelopes as well? as she has alread got her mark sheet & certificate & currently we r not in our home country which is Bangladesh but we r in uk. And once the university in Bangladesh give themark sheets & certifictes, it doesn'tprovide anoter one.

Get notarized your wife's marksheets/transcripts and submit with your documents alongwith an explanation why you can't arrange original mark sheets/transcripts from university in sealed envelop, I hope they wouldn't have any objection. This is what I think.

the right thing to do is take this in writing from the university and attach that e-mail to your full application...


else, an explanation is the only option you have.

Personally, I don't think it will be an issue... are you counting on your wife's education points to reach 67?

if your wife's 4 points are critical, then consider the scenario -
your wife did Grad from Bangladesh
your Visa office is London

Bangladesh visa office may have received several cases from your wife's university, so they may know the situation or have sample mark sheets from her university. So, Bangladesh would've been safe.

But London office does not have that much experience of Bangladeshi universities. So, you need to convince them. The best way to convince is to give what they are asking for...

i'll suggest you to talk to your wife's university. most universities have a process to issue transcripts for a nominal fee.

else, you are risking it on the IO's mood. he could have had a fight with the neighbor in the morning, for that matter...

do know, when they say university sealed envelope, is it a envelope just closed with gum & given to te student or what?

do u have any idea?

it is all marsheets and methodology to read the mark sheets on university letterhead with seal and stamp of the registrar enclosed and gummed up in a University printed envelope with university stamp at the sealing point...
