Is Tourist Visa and Visitor Visa different?

Hey Guys,

I applied for my fiance’s visit visa to Canada two times and both times it got rejected. She is coming to Canada as a tourist, and I will be accompanying her as a COPR immigrant.

A consultant pointed out that she should have applied for a tourist visa instead of visit visa, as visit visa requires invitation letter and tourist visa requires air ticket and hotel booking only.

Please guide if there is any truth in the above argument as I have hard time trusting consultants.

There's no truth to this - it's the same thing - both are TRVs. If she has already been refused twice, there's really no point applying again.
