I am the primary applicant.

If I go with my husband and not take our two kids along in September ....
Start my process and my husband's.

He continues to stay in Canada ,
I come back in two weeks and then take our children along with me in March 2019 (before their IOM date expires) .... would that hurt our process or cause any problems for us ?

Is this allowed ?

You need to declare the children as well in the application. Good luck.

Let me rephrase my question

We are a family of four. I am the primary applicant. We have received our immigration stamp

Yes, that is allowed. When you land for the first time, make sure you mention that your children will follow you later.
