Is there anyway for secondary applicant/dependent to arrive to Canada before the principal?

I am the dependent and I have to go early to apply to my classes to prevent any further delays. However, my mom still has to fix her things back here in the US. So, is there any possibilities of me going beforehand, like even two months before? Like who can I reach out to for making a request about this?

Your parent who is the primary applicant must come to Canada with you or first. The primary applicant must land first. If you are attending public school the school will want proof of where you are living because enrolment in most schools is based on you living in the catchment area.
