Depends on where you apply from--you may not need to take a medical

Yeah, I applied from Saudi, did not require medicals, while people from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh need to give medicals usually in order to receive their visas.

yes it can if u belong to an expat family.......theres something like that on CIC website. I gave my medical almost a yr ago and didnt give again when i applied ryt now. its valid for 1 year.

There are clear rules on the CIC website regarding who needs a medical and who doesn't. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-temp.asp

Usually High Risk Zones have a requirement for medical to be done within last 12 months.. Dat too with a designated doctor..

Countries like UK and US are fine.. mostly all countries with high medical standards..
