Is there any template or format should be followed of LOE?

Hi All,

I see there are lot of members mentioned LoE (Letter of Explanation).

As I am going to write a LoE for a work experience that I cannot provide reference letter, but only Contract and Offer letter, I'd like to ask is there any format or template should be follow?
