I watched. CONs kept on bringing refugee issues and had minimal debate on C-6. Liberals kept saying Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian. Most MP were not even at their desks. Don't expect much action until September.

And looking at how uncooperative Senate CONs are with Assisted dying and RCMP Union bill, chances of C-6 ever passing through are very bleak.

Just keep calling your MP, Minister John McCallum and PM Trudeau that you want liberals to push this bill through.

Senate has gone on holiday early and will only be back on 27 sep. This bill will be in effect if at all by next year and by then all victims of the past 2 years 4/6 rules will become another victim of the backlog. Can we call us who are victims of the c24 and c6 the most unlucky batch of immigrants in this country?

As of next week people who had been impacted by the extra year of waiting from C-24 will start applying. Citizenship is not a right. We will all apply when the law allows us to.
