Is the PGWP still valid if I renew my passport?

Hi,

Quick question: I didn't get the full 3-year validity of my PGWP because my passport expires before then. If I renew my passport in order to get the full 3 years, will my PGWP expire at the same time as the old passport? If so, can I continue working?
