Is the document number for the notice of decision the same as RPD file number?

Hi

I am filling out the application for the refugee travel documents. I would like to know where to find the document number for the notice of decision. It's the section on the travel document application where they ask for proof of immigration status in Canada and they want the notice of decision-document number. Is the document number for the notice of decision the same as RPD file number? or the document number for the notice of decision is found on the verification of status document?

Hi, yes you use the RPD file number as document number. I recently got my approval and was in service Ontario to make my OHIP. She was entering the document number and she entered my RPD file number as Document number. I confirmed from her and she said yeah that is the document number. But if you have multiple people on the notice of decision. Everyone’s own RPD file number should be entered as there document number.
