Is Soft Landing allowed

I have recently got the COPR for me and my dependents and currently in India. Could anyone please tell me if soft landing is allowed now in 2022, as last year in 2021 soft landing was not allowed by CIC. Also, any idea how many days does the PR card take in Canada to be issued. Do we need to stay in Canada till our PR cards are issued.

i dont know about soft landing but can answer the rest, it may take 2-3 months but you don't have to wait here until it's issued. will need an address in canada so it's sent to so gotta have someone to receive it. you can apply for prtd if you want to travel back in without a card
