Is refund policy different for every college?

Hi all,

Is refund policy the same for all Canadian Colleges?
My second semester at college is almost over and there's still 7 installments of my tuition that are left unpaid and have not come yet.
I've asked for a refund as I just quit college and they asked me to pay all the remaining of my tuition!

Update: Sorry, I did not ask for a refund I just simply quit college and they asked me to pay the what's left of my tuition which is more than $7000.

It is not the same. You have to read the policies on the web site of the specific school you are attending.
