Hi i’m from India.i have got a Work permit from a reputed five star hotel in Toronto Canada. ( An Indian visa consultant is in between us). They told me that Employer will take care of Food,Accomodation, travelling and medical insurance etc.
I was told to take medical tests (Hiv,Hepatitis & Vdrl) after i signed on a 16 letter aggrement for 2 years ( i saw canada govt stamps on it) next i got a call from USA number and asked me basic questions about my education and family.( telephonic interview). This process has taken 3months. Now i’m waiting for LMIA.
BUT before that i would like to cross check my application status with Canada immigration. Is it possible? How to know whether this process is genuine or fake?
Can someone pleae guide me with it?
Thank you.

What job exactly have you been offered as it would be very unusual for any hospitality employer to pay for food/accomodation/travel? Is it an executive or senior management position ? Have you parted with any money ? What exactly is the agreement you have signed, with whom ? Although easy to jump to conclusions it all sounds very familiar to previous scams seen here.

Likely a scam. Post the offer letter/correspondance with your personal information removed.

Pretty much guaranteed it's a scam. No hotel employer is going to cover food and accommodations. Don't give them any money.
