Hello All,

I was about to submit my application for ITA and also have my Medicals done.
But recently I came to know that FBI misplaced my PCC application file "read in thread FBI misplaced my PCC application".

I was in doubt that whether I should continue with this ITA or reject it and wait for another ITA.

Q1) Question I have is the medical that I have with me will still be valid for another ITA and what will be its validity?

While doing medicals I asked the representative in hospital and she said that it is valid for three months while CIC says it is valid for one year.

Q2) Does it mean that my medical is valid for three months before submitting my application (irrespective of ITA is still a question) and for one year once I have used that medial in application?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Best Regards,

The answer to your question in the topic title is no.

I believe it's 6 months for the PR app submission and valid for 12 months to complete the landing.

Here's the CIC link that mentions 6 months validity upon submission of APR:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Sorry about your FBI app. Not an easy question, we've seen CIC reject apps for weird reasons when it comes to PCC. If I were you better to reject the ITA for now. CIC tends to be strict on the PCC requirement.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your PCC.

This depends, because what i understand is that FBI takes a long time to issue PCC...Now that they have lost, ask them how early (or late) can they issue you another one. You can decide to accept (or reject) your UTA based on that.

This also depends, on when you get/accept/submit your eAPR next. By rule medicals should remain valid for 6 months at the time of eAPR submission, but as it is Medicals are valid for 12 months. Having said that its is always advisable to do you medicals as close as possible to eAPR filing, so you get enough time to land after your PPR, as you need to land before your medicals expire i.e. 12 months.

While doing medicals I asked the representative in hospital and she said that it is valid for three months while CIC says it is valid for one year.
As above

Thank you for your reply.

I asked them they told me that it will take the full duration of 4 months to complete.

Thank you for your reply.
