Is LMO required to renew work permit while in PNP process?

Hi. I have just submitted my PNP application here in BC. My work permit expires at the end of February 2014. I understand that I need a valid work permit while my PNP application is being processed. I apoloqize if this question has been asked many times before, but I was unable to find an answer thus, here we are are.

What is the process for renewing my work permit at this point? Will my employer need another LMO?

Any help is appreciated. A co-worker had to return home this summer due to paperwork issues, and I desperately don't want that to happen to me.

Not, no need the LMO, Apply for new work permit with your PNP approval and print out of your E cas status.. not to worry , you will get new work permit... my case was same like you.. last year.. my PNP was in proses and my work permit expired in Dec 2012 so I apply before that with above docs and they send me new work permit for 2 years.

Thanks for your reply! I was concerned because it will be over 4 years in Canada as a TFW in December. Can I go to the border to renew my work permit?

When you apply for a new work permit with a AINP nomination are you issued an open work permit or is it a closed work permit attached to your employer.
