Hi All,
I'm currently working in Canada on a Post Graduation Work Permit. I've completed working for 11 months continuosly in NOC 2173 with the same employer. I don't have an LMO, because I didn't need one for my work permit.

I have two questions...

1. I started working on April 27, 09. Can I apply under the FSW category now? Or is it too early? A few friends of mine have suggested that I can apply a month early, because by the time CIC opens my application, I'd already be eligible for FSW3.

2. Will I get 10 points for arranged employment? I have an indeterminate job offer from my employer and I work on a Post Graduation work permit. But I never had to apply for an LMO.

Thanks

Hi,

I guess you can, I heard some applicants done the same thing (applying few months ahead) but make sure your forms are well filled up to prevent them from returning it back to you thus delaying your application.
regarding your points, as long as your employer will get LMO for you and letter that you will stay in that job indeterminately...you will get 10points but to be sure double check your assessment. You can make it online using cic website.
All the best! :)
