Hi there
i have been in Canada for the last 2 and a half years on a visitor visa. i have just applied again to extend whilst my sponsorship papers go through.
I am from the UK and i live with my boyfriend who is a Canadian citizen.
I have not been able to work since being here as i have not been able to find a company who is willing to do me an LMO.
Today i found a company who has already got LMOs in place and is looking for staff.
so can i go the the states for a weekend in Minot, do some shopping and then get a work permit on the way back?
i know from research that people just do the flagpole and get their visas but i believe this has changed?
has anyone got any advice info for me?
is anyone in the same boat?
