Very hard. IT may be an exception if your skills are in need. Are you planning on leaving your US employer?I already have my Express Entry profile with CRS 451. I'll get ITA if I find a job offer.
My question is, is it possible to find job before even before getting ITA? My guess is most employer won't be interested.
I'm on h1b working in IT in US for past 10 years.
You won't get any points for your US job.I might be able to work remotely with my current employer but I don't think I can show my current US job offer for points.
If you are a consultant, there are companies in canada which can do the transfer for you if you can work remotely.I might be able to work remotely with my current employer but I don't think I can show my current US job offer for points.

They will arrange a work permit and he can get points after a year.Still won’t get the points.
The company he/she works for is in the US so job offer points are off the table. They will arrange a work permit and he can get points after a year.
It's extremely difficult since the employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA in order for this to count as a job offer (typically a 4-6 month process). To get an LMIA, the employer has to advertise the job and prove no Canadian coule be found / hired for the role. Given COVID-19 and job losses, I think getting LMIAs is going to go from very difficult to practically impossible. Recommend you forget about finding a job offer and focus on other ways to increase your points. Thanks guys.
I think I should focus on getting job offer from Canadian company but just wondering if anyone had success with that before getting PR/Work permit. If it's impossible then it would be better to focus my efforts on other ways.
He will be in the payroll of a canadian company. Try to follow. The company he/she works for is in the US so job offer points are off the table.
