I already have my Express Entry profile with CRS 451. I'll get ITA if I find a job offer.

My question is, is it possible to find job before even before getting ITA? My guess is most employer won't be interested.

I'm on h1b working in IT in US for past 10 years.

Very hard. IT may be an exception if your skills are in need. Are you planning on leaving your US employer?

I might be able to work remotely with my current employer but I don't think I can show my current US job offer for points.

You won't get any points for your US job.

If you are a consultant, there are companies in canada which can do the transfer for you if you can work remotely.

Thanks guys.

I think I should focus on getting job offer from Canadian company but just wondering if anyone had success with that before getting PR/Work permit. If it's impossible then it would be better to focus my efforts on other ways.

It's extremely difficult since the employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA in order for this to count as a job offer (typically a 4-6 month process). To get an LMIA, the employer has to advertise the job and prove no Canadian coule be found / hired for the role. Given COVID-19 and job losses, I think getting LMIAs is going to go from very difficult to practically impossible. Recommend you forget about finding a job offer and focus on other ways to increase your points.

Thanks. That's good to know.

My CELPIP score is 11 12 10 9. I can give exam again and get CLB 10 on all section but that will increase my score to 454 only. I don't see any other way to increase my points.

I think I've to try for PNP or hope for CRS to drop.
