I have a 5 year old child. The 3 year residency requirement is not applicable to children to apply for citizenship. After getting PR status, I need to stay in Canada for 3 years to apply for citizenship for me. My question is: Can I apply for citizenship for my child immediately after getting PR status?

No, residency requirement is only waived when one parent is either a citizen or is applying for citizenship.
