Is it possible somehow to apply for immigration under Federal Skilled Worker?

Hi all,

I am a software engineer, with experience of continuous 6 years of work. Is it possible to somehow apply for immigration under Federal Skilled Worker program. Please guide.

You have to wait till July 2012 and hope that your occupation will be there in the qualified NOC list. If your occupation is there in that list then you can definitely apply for the immigration as a federal skilled worker. You can apply now itself, If you have an arranged employment from a Canadian employer. Best of luck.

Firstly, its difficult to find a Canadian employer, even after getting a job offer it takes 5-6 months just to get the job offer approved.....................After which u will apply for PR.
