Is it ok to have 2 jobs while in pr applications?

Hi evryone, i would just like to know if its ok to have 2 jobs while my cec application is in process? I just got my approved BOWP and im planning to have 2nd job as my wife is on maternity leave. Will it affect my application? Do i need to email cic that i have 2 jobs if ever i will find one soon? Some advice and comments will be much appreciated.thanks.

Hey its okay to have 2 jobs whilst your CEC application is in process. This won't affect your application nor your BOWP. Congrats on having a new born. You however need to inform CIC of the birth of a child if you haven't already done so. I'm guessing your child was born in Canada, but to be on the safe side just send CIC an email informing them of this. No need to email them about a second job. All the best.

The only factor that governs your employment options is the type of work permit you have (having a PR application "in process" is irrelevant).

Since you have a BOWP, it is an OPEN work permit, which means it is unrestricted. So you're OK to work a 2nd job, if you have to. Congratulations and good luck -

Thank u so much jess_on and wessless for you reply.. And yeah ive already emailed cic about the birth of our baby.. Just need some extra money tahts why i want to have more earnings than what i got now. Thank u. ;D ;D
