Is it necessary to submit Iqama copy while applying online for student visa?

Hi, I recently submitted my Study Permit application and was wondering if it's really necessary to submit the iqama copy? I've been living Saudi Arabia since 18 years..
I submitted my application online. But it wasn't a requirement to submit the iqama and that got me curious and worried.
Also, if cic needs additional documents..they ask for it right? They don't flat out reject applications..do they?

As far as I can remember when I applied online in the required documents there was nothing about a copy of your Iqama.
However,in the national identity number I wrote my Iqama number.
And yes when they additional documents they will ask for it.
Is it your first time applying ?
