As per CIC "According to Citizenship and Immigration Canada guidelines, you will require approximately $10,000 CAD per year, not including tuition fees, to cover your living expenses. This requirement is fulfilled through the purchase of a participating GIC, and evidence that you have paid your tuition."

I have admit from McGill and they say they don't want tuition to be paid until I have my visa. What should I do?

1. No University (except in BC) ask for tuitions in advance. You pay when you registered for the courses.
2. Absolutely no issue if you are a visa applicant. CHC is aware of that.
