For PR application I need to work 30hrs/week fulltime for 12 months which is 1540 hours. But what if I work for 40 hours/week. And also work a second job as a part time. Will that mean I dont have to work for 12 months? Do I just need to fulfill the 1540 hours with only 1 job?
No - it doesn't.

You have to work 52 separate weeks that are at least 30 hours. You still need to work 12 full time months to count this as a full year.

Hi. Please reply. I m doing 3 jobs. One is full time monday to friday. Second is only saturday nd the third is uber eats which i do only occassionally like 3 or 4 times a month.

After this, i also have a registered incorporation from industry canada. Being a permanent resident, is it legal to do this much number of jobs in csnada? Will this considered to be as illegal as per federal, provincial or municipal law? Can this really effects my residential status in canada.

Please reply. My request to experts.

As a PR nobody really cares how many jobs you do as long as you pay your taxes for all these jobs. Has zero impact to your status in Canada

Hi,

Will be very greatful if someone can clarify and do the needful.

I recently applied PGWP and it's under processing. I am currently working for 40hrs/ week with employer X. Am I allowed to work for another 35hrs/week for another employer Y parallelly? It will be a total of 75hrs/week. please let me know if there will be any legal issues for working 75hrs/week.

Thank you !!
You can do it. No issues.

Hi right now i am working two full time jobs on PGWP. Does it effect my PR application in terms of conflict of interest like which job to consider for application?

I have a question, I am doing Two Full Time jobs on PGWP which are

Software Engineer
Monday to Friday
25$/Hour 40 Hours a Week from 9 AM to 5PM

Drywall Installer around 32 hours/Week
At 16$/Hour
Wednesday from 7PM to 11PM
Thursday from 7PM to 11 PM
Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shift from 6AM to 6PM

which job should i show in my express entry profile, because both are gull time jobs, if i show Drywall Installer job in my express entry will it create any problem or not. Because some agent are saying mr that my primary job is of software engineer, but i dont think that there is any concept of primary job.
I am doing both jobs from 1 year continuously. Which job should i show in cec and dod drywall job only create any problem in express entry if i show only this job not software engineer

Its OK to work since we all do some kind of second JOB here but be careful when you do 2 FT Jobs the Tax at the end is very high :)

Hi Everyone,

I have been working for 1 year in Canada on PGWP and simultaneously also working remotely for an foreign company.

The working hours don't clashwith each other.

Can I claim points for 1 year Canadian experience and 1 year foreign work experience points in express entry?
