Is it better to get Credentials Assessed before creating express entry profile

Hi all.. getting my IELTS results on the 13th & planning to create the express entry profile over the weekend. I have also obtained my sealed and attested transmittals from my graduation & post graduation universities, ready for sending to the World Evaluation Services. Should I have my educational credentials evaluated before creating my online express entry profile . Please advise.

Yes wait for the results. So that you can create profile and claim points accurately. Otherwise one year expiration clock will start ticking right after the profile creation.

Moreover, if you are looking for OINP nomination then I would suggest you to wait few more months be coz OINP has stopped inviting people till November

Yes, to create an Express Entry profile you need to have your IELTS TRF and ECA Report ready. You will need to enter the TRF and ECA reference number in your Express Entry profile.

Thanks you guys! Got an 8 score in IELTS yesterday. I think it takes a while before the TRF reaches me. Meanwhile, I will ready my ECA. I am planning to get it done from WES. Is that reliable...timely response wise.Any better suggestions for credential evaluation?

I used WES myself, received results within about 2 weeks and never had any issues.

Try to get your credentials assessed soon, as you will need your ECA number from WES when you create your EE profile.
