Hi,
My question is :If my wife becomes the principle applicant for PR after getting ILETS and WES scores , together we get better points as she is younger than me and her age gives us an advantage of points. However she is not been working for the last 3 years , though has an experience of working for 10 years before she took a sabbatical . Is it going to be a problem as the principle applicant is currently not in the full time job?

Please help

thanks
Prem

Required work experience is 1 year so if she has a higher CRS and you guys have the required fund in your joint account or her personal account then you are good. All the best.

Hey Thank you for the reply. Was wondering if the Background check for somebody who is on sabbatical would have any negative impact on the candidature.
I'm sure it won't as long as she has an approved letter from her employer as evidence. I'll suggest you attach a letter of explanation ( explain y she has been on leave for so long and when she intend to return to work) along with the leave letter. You will be fine. All the need is proof of experience.
