HI! I entered in Canada with eTA visa as a visitor. My husband has a Work visa with a LMIA.
Because of this I could apply for open work visa (OWV) at USA/CA border, but my Immigration office did not instruct me to apply for a temporary resident Visa (TRV) they said that with eTA I can go out and re-entry in CANADA. Is that true?
I am living in Canada and we pretend to apply to express entry PR in a fill months, but before the process is done I pretend to go back to my home country to see my new borne nephew.

How should a proceed?
Do I need a TRV?
If yes, is possible to get on at border?

I saw at cic web site that there is an “Application to Remain in Canada as a Temporary Resident Permit Holder”
Use this application if you are already in Canada on a temporary resident permit and you want to:
• apply for another temporary resident permit so you can stay longer
• change the conditions of your stay
• change your type of temporary status
• correct problems with your status

Does eTA status is included in that category?

Thank You!

No - ETAs are not included in this category.

You're confusing TRVs and TRPs. TRPs are special permits that are issued to people who are otherwise inadmissible to Canada (typically due to a crime).

And it's not possible to get a TRV at the border.

So holding a eTa I can re-entre in Canada by plane at any time of my Open work permit? My eTa and my OWP are valid for 2 year.

The eTA will allow you to board the plane to Canada.

"The eTA will allow you to board the plane to Canada." OK

And will allow me to go through immigration?

Thank you!

No. An eTA is merely permission to board a commercial carrier to travel to Canada; it has nothing to do with entry into Canada. That is up to CBSA. With a valid work permit, you should be fine.
