Is conditional offer enough for visa application ?

Hi,
I have got conditional offer for PhD,once I finish my masters in next couple of year the college will send confirm offer.
As my course will start in Sept 2010 I will have to apply for visa immediately,my question is "conditional offer letter will be excepted for visa process?"

- You will finish your masters in the next couple of years (2 years),
- Your course will start in Sept 2010 and will apply for visa immediately? Which course is this? Is it the Masters? Is it in Canada or home? Is the PhD conditional offer based on this course that will start in Sept 2010?

OR: You're finishing up your masters soon and you've been given a PhD offer to start in Sept 2010 provided you complete your masters by Sept 2010?

i have got conditional admission offer in M.Sc at uni of alberta...i didn't send them the degree certificate here from pakistani university...but i sent the transcript...now they imposed the condition that i have to send them the degree certificate till 31st december 2010 whereas my course in uni of alberta is starting in september 2010....so would it be any problem if i don't show up my degree certificate to canada embessy for study visa because the uni in pakistan still didn't issue me the degree and they r saying that it will be issued to me next month...

if a conditional offer is issued by a university, then that condition must be satisfied before you can apply for the student visa. Anything else stands a strong chance of rejection.

The conditional offer is mostly issued to enable you to complete other formalities like a bank loan and so on.

Hey sorry for confusion,I mean my masters will get ovee in couple of months,not year.
It will get over in August 2010 and I have conditional offer for PhD which starts in Sept 2010,so I will have to start visa process,so is it possible to get visa on conditional letter ?

COndition is I have to clear my masters,which will happened only in Agust and I can not get confirm offer till that.

something else that struck me was... you will finish your course in August, but will you get the marksheets, Degree certificate etc in time (before Sep) for you to process your visa ?

Again, for all courses starting in September, Visa applications have to be submitted before 1 Aug. you would also need to think abt that.

I assume you're from India, based on ur id. Indian universities take a looong time to get things done, as u know
