IRCC website displays two different processing times for study permit

Hello all,

Has anyone among you noticed so far there are two different processing times on IRCC website for study permit?I used another search option and found this option.The other webpage shows the processing times is 7 weeks for study permit.This is very concerning now.


"Study permit
This includes:

• study permit
• study permit extension
• work permit for student

Study permits: In Canada (initial and extension)

Last updated: July 6, 2021

We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
April 4 and 10, 2021 ?
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it"

One is for applications inside Canada and the other one is for applications processed outside of Canada

Per experience on the application ( within Canada) for extension of the study permit of my daughter, this update holds true. She submitted her application on March 29, 2021, and she recently got an approval on July 9
