IRCC Webform response - request forward to appropriate department

Hello,
Does anyone know how long it may take for IRCC to process a webform request AFTER the request was forwarded to a specialized department (related to work permits)? IRCC made a mistake in my work permit, I raised a webform on March 5th and yesterday I received a response that my request has been forwarded to a department.
It's already been a month and I am worried how long it may take.

Not sure what kind of mistake was made but you're better off following up by calling CIC and asking the agent to transfer you to their supervisor(program specialist), explain the situation and ask them to put a note on file for IRCC agent to see.

Long story short: I applied for an Open Work Permit under new policy (PGWP extension), but instead IRCC approved me BOWP. I am not eligible for BOWP because I live in Quebec, so the agent clearly made a mistake.
I contacted an agent by phone a month ago and he informed than I must submit a webform (which I did). Yesterday I received a response that my request was forwarded to the appropriate department.

Now I am not sure how long it may take.

Ummm the one time extension of a PGWP indeed comes in the form of an open work permit. Now, I am not in Quebec so this is news to me. I suggest you search @legalfalcon on the threads and ask your question there, he will have more insight. As for reaching IRCC, I'd follow up again by call like I mentioned above. Best of luck
