IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Hey guys, my test status changed to completed Sep 20 and no update so far. I haven’t received a request to submit copies of my passport! Any idea what’s the next step DM or passports copies request?

It’s probably going to take around 2-3 months before you get a DM or passport request. If you get a passport request, then probably another 2weeks - 2 months before DM. Not sure how long it takes from DM to Oath In progress or if oath ceremony is now happening in spring 2020.

My file is in Scarborough and I am a march 2020 applicant. my background check was completed in FEb 08 2021 and still waiting for test invite..... I dont understand on what logic do they pick up files and process them :S

Don't worry man i am march 2019 applicant and until now no decision made and ceremony. Scarborough has no rule for processing

How long for you to receive your GCMS? I am waiting for mine for two month now.

I sent passport photos with the application, but I was still asked to send them later. Go figure.

Wow, March 2019 and no DM? And here I was thinking I had it bad with being September 2019 with no Oath, yet! That's terrible news; sorry to hear your case is so delayed. Did you have the unfortunate luck of having an atypical case?

Thats ridiculous man, Mississauga office is scheduling ceremony for 2021 applicants already, why cant they just move u there for the ceremony alone. This office is hopeless. I should have moved somewhere far north before applying

I sent my passport copies around the same time. I sent it on Sept. 7th and it was received on the 8th. I still don’t have any further updates. Please let me know if you hear back anything and I will let you know the same.

I have been separated from my loved ones in the US for 2 years but I can not travel because I do not have a US visa and the US visa offices are closed for visa interviews. Would this be warranted urgent processing?

Really frustrated and need help. Please advise how to proceed.

Now the wait for the Oath Ceremony.

Second test invite: Sept 27, 2021
Test completed: Oct 1, 2021
Processed at Scarborough office.
