Would u like to share what did you ask for ? i am also thinking of emailing my officer since i was told that i would be getting the invite in 2 weeks.

Thank you!!! Nothing out of the ordinary to be honest, just a very general inquiry about the status, and she replied just over an hour after I sent it, which is quite nice.

Yes I did but it was directly to my officer. I'm not sure if you received your request directly from your officer or the central email - if it's the officer, give it a shot - if not... I doubt that would help :/

i got the email from Hamilton office .Looks like general email. Did your email had a first and last name of the officer? how can u tell if its from the officer directly?

Yeah mine was from the officer - but from recent reports Scarborough seems to be switching to central email as well.

So in my case emailing to central system won't help ? Would you suggest calling IRCC call centre?

I doubt that would work. You can give the call centre a call - they can either 1) surprise you greatly or 2) being quite unhelpful.

Sounds like a great idea. Yeah I just browsed around that Scarborough is using a central email for test invitations, document requests and interview requests these days.

I'm just hoping I would get my official invitation soon - I would assume it would come either late this week or early next week... since it's nearly 2 weeks away.

It seems like being interviewed by an officer is a good thing , at least you have someone to talk to and email to. Being DM without interview not only made the process not faster towards oath , but also less transparent when it comes to waiting time .

My officer also replied promptly and was able to get confirmation from Vancouver the fingerprints email was sent an error. Such relief! Fingers crossed now on getting the oath invitation soon.

Go Scarborough go !!!! You are the true north star within IRCC network of offices !!!!

Scarborough officers are awesome. They really mean business. They don't delay things if there's no reason to do so. I am sure that the work culture in Scarborough team is much different, even better, than other GTA offices.

Someone I know did interview with other GTA office (not Mississauga) and was told that Oath will resume in September when everything opens up.....

We live in Scarborough, so I assume it is likely the Scarborough office.
