IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Well I have to say from reports everywhere in Canada they have significantly increased the amount of interviews.

Ones I saw so far: Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Scarborough, Mississauga, Hamilton, London, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax.

Some applicants' interviews have been scheduled well into May. Scarborough office is not alone anymore - I do feel like this will become a standard procedure soon.

Scarborough office is done with last ceremony of the week. There were 42 participants and it would take 3 to 6 weeks for certificate to arrive depending on the printing schedule.

Scarborough office now should be busy sending invites for 19 and 20 April ceremonies.

With the 100% cloud cover, I am forecasting rain in next few hours to early next week.

A PRINTING SCHEDULE?! ...that is more waiting then. In addition, Premier is going to announce some more restrictions at 4 pm, and it looks like a very extensive one. Hopefully that would not impact their operations too much, one can only hope...

Whole IRCC machinery is already working from home and that new restrictions should not affect IRCC at any levels !!!!

I doubt the printer would be at home. There should be some people still working in the office, I remember IRCC said their capacity is at 30% or lower. So there remains some personnels at the office.

Well, anything is possible in Canada!

Most of IRCC has already been hiding behind 699 and it is very much possible that 30% of leftovers may elope under the 699.

Not pointing fingers at you or your source; however, people deserve to know the credible sources of information before panicking.

Missed a call from an unknown number around 7:45 pm last night. Wondering if this could be CIC? Do they typically email for an Oath invitation or would also call? The reason I ask is because we did receive a call from a CIC agent (unknown number) last month when scheduling an interview and it was after regular work hours (around the same time in the evening). Following our conversation they also sent an email.

At the time of the interview the agent gave us a timeline of six weeks to hear back on the oath invitation. The status for my application changed to DM a day after the interview and that for my spouse early last week. We applied in April 2019.

Any thoughts on action required now e.g. call the call centre or web form or just wait and watch?

Could be...... suggest you should speak to an agent. Hopefully you are in line to get Oath invite.

When did you get DM on your file?

Did the caller leave any voicemail messages? I'd say give CIC a call and find out what's going on, at this point it really doesn't hurt for one more phone call, let us know if it is the oath invite

it was an unknown number and round about the time of the day I received the last call from CIC .. so it’s all based on intuition really! No voicemail left. Hopefully an email is how they communicate on next steps and they do so some time soon.
