Hi all! Tracker updated today with LPP completed Jan 12! Waiting for oath now..
My timeline:
Jan 18, 2023 - AOR
Feb 23, 2023 - Background completed
Apr 7, 2023 - Scheduled for test
May 9, 2023 - Test completed
Jan 12, 2024 - LPP completed

Completed my virtual oath today.

Do I have to wait until they email me instructions on how to create a IRCC portal and get the E-certificate? I remember reading there was a faster way to do this?

Has anyone applied for the express processing for the passport (within 10 business days) and didn't have to submit proof? I want to get it earlier, but have no travel plans (dont want to be in the situation where I can't travel out in case of emergencies)

My oath scheduled for 13th feb, i emailed scr citizenship offc. They said i will receive the instructions email 1 week prior the oath.

I have a question. Do you guys think they are processing based on submitted date or AOR? Since from the list above it seems as if its based on the submission date

Received an email from to attend in-person interview at Scarborough office. Letter states “ INVITATION TO AN INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL
AND VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS”. Anyone went thru an interview before ? Any insights will be appreciated. Thank you.

whats ur timelines please ? did you take test outside canada ?

I got the same invite for Feb 1 at the SCR office. From my reading and the helpful replies of people on this forum, I'm lead to believe that this is nothing to worry about or suggestive that there's something gravely wrong with your application. It'll likely be a 10 minute conversation, they'll ask a few questions, and it's done. LPP may complete very soon afterwards- and in some rare cases, they invite you to take your oath the very same day. I'm still apprehensive because logic dictates that I must have been selected for an interview for a reason when most people don't have to, but I'm sure it'll be just fine.

how many days ahead of Oath ceremony we receive email with instructions? Mine is scheduled on Feb 19.. Email is not received yet .. only tracker is updated with this date
