IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Hi Friends,
I finished my oath Ceremony today on Zoom and it went well. I requested expedited process to deliver my Citizenship certificate ASAP. The IRCC officer said that it should have been requested a day before the ceremony at least to have this expedited, You processing Cit application is different. It was little disappointing. But I heard stories that people from SCR office received certificate in 2 days too.
I want your opinion as I just sent my oath form immediately after ceremony to IRCC.DNSCRCitizenshipCeremony-CeremonieCitoyenneteSCRRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca address. Please let me know if anyone has a story of receiving certificate much sooner like within a week.
Please I need your advise as I need to travel in the coming week to USA so Need passport ASAP, Already collected all documents to expedite passport process as well.
Would greatly appreciate your help on this.

To be honest lately SCR being so hard when people asking for certificat expedite because almost everyone asking for that. I don't know how fast you want it, but what I'm hearing lately the maximum depending on how far you live from Scarborough it takes around 2 weeks in rare cases 3 weeks. don't worry about the passport as long you have the prove of urgent traveling you'll get it in the same day max the next day
Congrats and thanks for sharing - Did they mention how you should have asked for the expedited process to deliver your Citizenship certificate the day before the ceremony?
We should have emailed them at least a day before the ceremony to have the certificate expedited. if not they can only be expedited to Truck driver, flight attendant
So Please send an email to the mentioned email address where it says in teh Invitation email section it asks you to send if any question or issues section.
What reasons qualify for expedited processing of certificate? Do we need to attach any proof with request email?
why aren't in person oath ceremonies being restarted? Aren't they much quicker and a lot more candidates can be accommodated in one ceremony?
