No, even you ask , they asked for proof of emergency
So, normal procedure should be applied

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, PLEASE HELP:
Application received: 27 June 2018, yes 2018.
Aor: 28th August 2018
Fingerprint request : March 26th, 2019
Fingerprint submitted: March 27th 2019
Test invite: March 2nd'20 for March 25th'20
Test Cancelled: 14th March'20 because of covid19.
No News: Contacted MP, call centre...Told to wait...had also applied for Atip notes and Web Form before I got the Test invite on March 2nd '2020.
No New Test invite for 2021 yet.

My question is, will I have to submit my Fingerprints AGAIN since it has been two years ?

What to do NEXT? Please advice.

My case is also same like yours. excatly i applied in March 2018 .Everything is done by Jan 2019. they invite me for oath ceremony when i went for Oath they told me it is cancelled due to My back ground security clearances didnt came back. since 2019 feb i am waiting ..apporached IRCC so many times ..the reply is same in process. so recently i hired a lawyer for Mandamus. so waiting. I am from india i am in canada since 2003.
can you update me your case please since we both are in same boat.

It has been 3 years and 10 days since the application and 1.5 months since the in person interview at the Scarborough office.

Everything is complete with Citizenship Oath Not started. Not sure how much longer will it take

Finally after approximately 3 years and 1 month, I have received an Oath invite for early December. It has been quite a wait and after 12 years in Canada, I am excited to officially become a Canadian. I just wish that I had my application processed in ~12 months like others and did not have to spend money on a mandamus.

No idea, there wasn't any request for additional documents, fingerprints etc. Looks like they just forgot some 2019 applications

Congrats, even though it took too long! Sorry to hear you had to bring a mandamus to get movement, but how long did it take to get movement after filing the mandamus? what was your full timeline?
