Hi everyone,

I'm a Protected Person in Canada and I recently received a letter from IRCC regarding my Permanent Residence application.

The letter asks me to submit the following documents within 30 days:

* IMM 0008 (Generic Application Form)
* IMM 5669 (Schedule A)
* IMM 5406 (Additional Family Information)
* IMM 5562 (Travel History)
* Police certificates
* CV/Resume with full education and employment history

My question is for people who have gone through a similar situation:

1. Is this a normal document update request before PR processing continues?
2. Did IRCC ask you to submit all of these forms again even if they were included in the original application?
3. For IMM0008, did you use your original passport information or your Canadian Refugee Travel Document (RTD) information if you obtained an RTD after submitting the original application?

I would appreciate hearing about your experience and what you submitted.

They checked only 2. Checklist and supporting documents.
I understand. Someone that I know received the same letter. Hundred percent same. They checked checklist and supporting documents(police certificate).
We did not understand if we need to send all of these documents again? We are planing to fill them again send to the ircc to play safe.

You are not alone, an acquaintance has received a similar letter from IRCC today.

I got the same documents today, only the police certificate is marked in the check list, but we will do it with the lawyer, let's see, it's complete nonsense! We have already sent them all

The IRCC updating background and admissibility assessments before moving the application forward. Also IRCC wants current information before making a final decision.

IRCC is typically asking you to gather all the requested forms and documents and submit them through the IRCC webform before the 30-day deadline. It is usually a request for updated information.

I received the same letters via email last week, Application submitted March 2025
 
Hi. I received exactly the same email from IRCC. Apparently they are trying to get any recent updates since the online application was submitted.

Now, it is up to you. If you feel that any of these forms needs to be updated, then do!
If you believe that nothing has changed and that you have submitted the forms correctly, then complete the Checklist by adding (N/A): Not Applicable against each form over the small checkbox (as instructed by IRCC).

Nothing to worry. We need to help IRCC officers do their work properly by updating any new information and/or correcting any 'mistakes' in earlier submissions.
 
Hi my question is this. All forms that ircc ask send again to you. Ircc ask on GC key after you got AOR. Or ask to you PR portal or on email. How's ircc contact to you
