New foot note:
simple inland spousal sponsorship , arrived in Canada 2020

Application first received by and accepted June of 2021, paper, mailed in.
Two requests were made for updated information!
January 2022, requested to refile online, still not sure why.
Medical and landing fees done in July,2022
Application approved September,2022
Pr portal filled in and finally accepted November 10, 2022

Many calls in to IRCC, laughed at, don’t worry, it’s coming.
No contact from IRCC

Finally one agent if we received portal 2? (April) Which was a no!
May found out that the landing fees, were never attached to the file!

Now with MP involved , received eCoPR , just before it expired! (June 7)
July, after 9 months, picture was rejected,,,,,, 9 months!!!

And now, today, IRCC, has no record of rejecting the picture and requesting the new one!

MP is now contacting our new minister of immigration

I know many people have had hard times as well!

So,,, how***** up, is really ***** up?

My guess is now, maybe one year for pr card

That's messed up. Whenever I call IRCC I don't ask about timeline, I just inquire to check if they have all of my stuff on file. If it's an inland application then was it the permenent residence processing fee instead of landing fee??

New minister of immigration as in Marc Miller?

Is this for a Quebec application or another province?

For Alberta, and yes ,they called it the landing fee.
And yes, a formal inquiry is be started with the new minister.

I always asked as well, but unless one can guess for something specific, you get the same answer,,, (everything is fine, just wait )
