If its required then you wont be able to submit the application without it. There is an "optional" tag beside some of the forms, you dont need to fill those out. Use the ircc portal if you can fit the documnets within the 2mb limit and dont neeed the 4MB that gckey offers. I recommend the ircc portal , way easier.
