yeah i wish they were bit more organized. i hope you get ECA by end of this week at least.

I called them yesterday to inquire about documents that were reached them on 12th Jan.
They said right now they are processing the documents received on last week of Dec and we need to wait.
To send AoR itself they are taking more than 7 weeks!! After receiving AoR, another 12 weeks!! They sound ridiculously slow after Xmas holidays.

I sent my documents in Oct 2017, but still didn't get ECA. I am waiting since last couple of months. Inquiries may provide only status, but cant speed up your case, i believe. I have 2 years bachelors degree, followed by 3 years Masters program, Have anyone idea what would be IQAS equivalency? Bachelor's Degree or Master's?
Yes Oct 17. I received mail from them about clear identification docs to be sent again, that i provided them again recently. Expecting ECA................... No Clue.... Every day bring new hope to me. Let's see, this is the only thing now i can do "Only wait".

We can't say for sure. It depends on your qualification and your university and it's recognition status with IQAS. But it is always interesting when it comes to 3 years + 2 years combination.
As per canadian standards, Bachelors is 4 years. So, the institutions (not only IQAS) tend to consider 3 + 2 as 4 years + 1 year and they give Bachelors with Post Graduate Diploma. This is actually bad news for those expecting Masters credentials.
But I am not sure if this happens all the time.
Hey there. IQAS received my package as per my courieron 13 jan. Didn't get any AOR. But on 15 Feb upon inquiring they said that file is opened. Do u think I would not get an AOR at all? And when should I expect to receive an ECA

This is not an AOR, AOR is a proper email that they will send you. I have sent my documents couple of months ago, still waiting for ECA. May you get your ECA soon, but probably it will take around month(s), not sure but keeping view their latest processing time, you will get final ECA may be by end of Mar - Apr 2018.
