IP2 after 3 weeks?

Hi everyone,

So my application has changed to "We are processing your background check." I sent through all my documents about 3 weeks ago. I have passed the medical test. Is this normal? It just seems seems super quick?

I'm not complaining of course, but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced processing times similar to this?

I realize it can take up to 6 months, but that wasn't my question. My question was has anyone else experienced processing times this fast? Also, I'm from a visa-exempt country so I don't think I need to submit my passport?

For some applications it goes directly to Ip2 without seeing ip1. Have you ever lived or worked in canada?

I currently am in Canada on a work permit. Also, as I am from a visa exempt country, I won't get a PPR right?

Ok that's why it went directly to ip2. No you will get a landing email.

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting it to be so fast... of course, this isn't a definite thing, but hopefully it comes soon

I heard that IP2 can take some time if you have travelled alot / have several employment letters etc.. If you don't mind me asking, what was your situation? You can DM me if you like
