I submitted the interest in 2020 and got invited. However did not proceed with a complete application. Am I still
In the pool for 2024 intake? I did not get invitation in 2021-2023, making me worried if I have been kicked out.

IRCC does not answer my question at all even I asked with web form. They always answer with the information I can see from their website.

If you got invited and didn’t apply then your profile would not re-enter the pool. Others can comment.

You are no longer in the pool since you were already invited.

That really doesn’t make sense and they don’t reopen the interest form for four years!
PGP makes no one happy. IRCC has stated that they will continue to draw from the 2020, probably until all have been invited. Once pool is zero, they may open it up and expect around 500k profiles for just a few spots in the lotter.

You actually got assigned a spot , didn’t use it , and that spot could have been used by someone who would have completed the application.
How does that make sense ?

The term “ Use it or lose it “ applies

I admit that I lost it but how come I deserve to lose the chances for other four to five years! There are bunch of reasons that complete application can not be made in time.

Family situation can change year by year. The interest form should be submitted each year like before 2020.

No one likes how PGP is selected. IRCC just decided to keep drawing from the 2020 pool and there is nothing you can do but wait. Maybe they will scrap it once it is zero or maybe they will change the rules.
