I sat for Ielts on 25th june, 2016 from Dammam Saudi Arabia. On 9th July, I received an email from the test center admin that my results are being withheld for investigation. So on 22nd July, I got the result online as follows: L8.5 R9 W6 S7.5. I was not satisfied with my writing score so I requested an enquiry of Result (EOR) for writing module only on 27th July.
Today on 9th August (14th day after EOR) I received an email from the test center admin that my writing score has been changed from 6.0 to 7.0 and I m eligible for a full refund.
So my point is, even after withheld results you can go for EOR and your score can increase if you have done good.
