Hi All
I am a student in montreal and got an internship in a company in ottawa starting from Jan. for my coop visa, can I go directly to the border or should I only apply online or on paper?
I heard someone did that and I was thinking maybe going to the border is faster.

I applied online for my co-op work permit. It came within about 3 weeks

I'm an Indian having an undergraduate engineering degree from a reputed Indian college, living in the UAE.
I also have 2+ years of work experience (in UAE) in the field in which i want to pursue a PG diploma course. Will that help me get a co-op job and also secure a permanent job at the end of my 2 year study course?
I would like to know if we can do any small part-time jobs during our study period (for day to day expenses, pocket money, etc.) on a study permit, if not what are the steps that need to be taken so that i can work?
