Hi guys,

I just wanted to thank everyone that has helped me on this forum with their helpful answers.

Hubby's interview is tomorrow :o in accra, ghana and i am so nervous. I just want everything to go well and to finish this stressful process.

I will keep you updated of what happened asap. Please wish us luck :)

All the best!! I hope he does well and that you guys are able to be together soon :) :)

Best of luck!!!
With the support you received from this forum, hubby is gna ace his interview. Best believe it! :-D

hope u share good news soon which is stamped visa same day ;D

ok, got an update from hubby. Interview was about 1 hour long. He was asked tons of questions related to the development of our relationship, where i work, what i do, names of my family members etc...

He was told that we would receive an email either this week or next after she reviews all our documents (he had to submit other docs at the interview) for him to bring his passport...

He answered all the questions she asked him :D, and they even had a nice chat afterwards...

He seemed pretty confident after the interview, so now we just have to wait....patiently...

lawd have mercy ::)

More waiting again! If in 2 weeks you don't hear from them send a CSE or fax them.

*fingers crossed* I don't understand why they didn't keep his passport one time....Smh

Ok, here's my update...
Husband was refused . I received refusal email and appeal forms this week. I couldn't believe my eyes!

I am so upset and stressed!

Officer stated that my husband married me to come to Canada, which is ridiculous!! She was trying to find something to refuse him on and couldn't find a reason because he answered all of her questions, so this is what she came up with, unbelievable. She even lied to him telling him that he will receive a call to bring his passport.

I am appealing this decision-not going to give up that easily.

They just love to ruin people's lives. They act like they are mind readers and can pinpoint who married to come to Canada.

I've contacted a lawyer and will appeal asap. Does anyone know how long it takes to appeal??

Thanks guys!

Sorry Livin....

Is there any thing you can think of that would give the IO such a suggestion?? it just doesnt make sense!! the apeal i think could take 6months to a year...

I dont get it, I know a guy that married a girl after talking to her over the phone for like 2 yrs, only saw her for 1 week and they got approuval! through the accra office! they are just ridiculous! Indians sponsor people with the same last names as them could be their sibling! and get through without any interview in 3months! so unfair!

Perhaps because my family in Canada didn't accompany me to ghana for the wedding, however, i had family members in ghana that were there. Which is normal in my culture. Over 50 people, including my family and his.

We even had communcation from the past 3 years. It's not like i met him on the internet. I even know his family here in Canada!

ridiculous!, I am sure you will win at the appeal, just unfortunate that you have to waste time and more money, 50 people is more that some wedding the get approuval! sorry about this my dear, keep strong, hope hubby is okay. It shall be well.
