The Embassy in Rome is a medium-sized with 25 Canada-based staff and with some local staff ! VOs are fully aware of English & French language !

FYI : Applicant will be asked for which language to be preferred for the interview to be in English, French or Italian and accordingly the translator will be provided.

Best of luck,

Hi Borntowin :),
thanks for the answer.
Are you sure that VOs speak italian language?
In the email that I received it is written that the interviews are only conducted in English or French languages :(
Any info about the questions asked?
I just used the search function in the forum and I read the old threads, but I want to know if anyone had direct experience with the Italian embassy.

Thanks a lot :)
Bye
Alberto.

Be careful, which language did you choice when you applied? Then if you wanna do by Italian ,how about your sponsor?
He/she couldn't speak Itallian, you shouldn't do by these language because they will have a doubt how to communicate you and sponsor?
That is serious question and it can give you their refusal.
So, I supported ,if your sponsor spoke Italian you might do by Italian or a translator and He/she couldn't ,you might do English or French either.
Here is common questions about FAM and don't forget to bring edviance of your relationship(photos,e-mails,Phone bills,Skype evidences.....etc)
Never go without evidence for interview!(even you can't shown anymore than application, bring any recommand letters from some people(friends,parents,..etc)about they known well of your relationship or your marriage was genuined.(if you already marriaged).
Good luck!
